Amy Rhodes is a British contemporary artist based in South Staffordshire, known for vibrant, colourful and expressive semi-abstract landscape and floral paintings.
Colour is at the heart of Amy’s work. She is constantly inspired by changing light, beautiful skies, flowers and the landscape around her, taking those everyday moments into the studio and turning them into paintings that sit somewhere between reality and imagination.
Amy loves expressive brushstrokes, bold colour and seeing where a painting takes her. Her paintings are joyful, uplifting and full of life and often inspired by memories, places she has visited and the countryside around her home, but it is the feeling of a place that she really wants to capture.
